SZENE 2WEI consists of professional dancers with and without disabilities. Founded in 2009 in Essen by Timo Gmeiner and William Sánchez H., it operates as a contemporary dance theatre that serves as a medium and motor for art, which is to say, for behaviour that appreciates and values diversity.

Ruben Reniers, born in Jakarta, grew up in Rotterdam, where he completed Bachelor‘s degree in contemporary dance at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten | CODARTS. His career as a dancer led him as a member of the ensemble to several theaters in Germany. Since 2009, Reniers has pursued his fascination with movement and composition through the creation of his own choreographic works.

Frantics Dance Company

This experimental dance company was created at the end of 2013 in Berlin. The multicultural group got inspired for the name “Frantics” by the Spanish word “Frenesí”, which by definition means “a violent exaltation of a feeling or a passion”. They are influenced by bboying, contemporary dance, acrobatics, experimental hip hop, martial arts and gaga.
