Contact dance Company was founded in 1998 by Francesca Abela Tranter and officially launched in Malta in October 2001. To date the company has toured globally to high profile theatres and platforms. CDC manipulates a variety of dance theatre approaches exploring an idea through the unwritten work of the body. Its philosophy is to create innovative work by using sources outside mainstream dance.
